Phil Ivey has been branded as the greatest poker player on the planet by quite a few of the top-ranked pros. Phil Ivey was born in Riverside, CA and moved to New Jersey before reaching turning 1. His papa taught him penny-ante 5-Card Stud poker. From that point on, he was hooked on poker and wanted to learn whatever he could about poker. He made a decision to take his game to the successive level and moved out west to Sin City. He continues to participate in in "The Big Game" at the Bellagio with the greatest players in the world. Ivey credits his achievements to dedication and a continuing passion for poker. He says that he is picking up skills every single day and is quite humble about his success. Phil knows he makes mistakes in each session of poker and always strives to get better.
Although Phil has won some large tournaments, he favors winning money games on a normal basis.
